Dam U-Clever Girl originates from the Holstein damline 8769. This damline already gave the Grand Prix horses Ceour de Nobelss M (by Cordius M) of Pius Schwiser and Grace (by Grannus) of Rolf Moormann. Grand dam Annabell is the dam of the 1.60m horses Charlie (by Calypso I) and the mare Move On (by Come On), bred by the successful German breeder Harm Thormähle.
Quebec VDL’s dam is bred back to the legendary jumping mare Bühne (Fokus I x Maki II) out of the stables of Gerd Margens. In the early seventies, Bühne was one of the best jumping horses (1.40m) in Holstein. Besides that, Bühne is the dam of approved sons Castor (by Cor de la Bryère) and Ferdinant-W (by Fernando). Also the approved stallions Sarento, Laducci, Stauffenberg and Lord Caletto come directly out of Bühnes damline.
